Note: Not recommended for use in lightweight masonry material such as block or brick.

Description/Application:

The drop-in anchor is an internally threaded expansion anchor which can be used in heavy-duty concrete materials, thin wall or pre-stressed concrete. This non-bottom bearing anchor can be installed three ways, solving most heavy-duty concrete anchoring problems. It can be installed flush in a hole of any depth, flush in a hole drilled to depth of anchor, or set below the surface. The pre-assembled plus is secure inside the anchor and cannot fall out in shipment. This versatile anchor provides a smaller diameter hole than most lead or drop-in anchors.

Installation:
(To set anchor flush with surface.)

Drill hold to size specified above.

Drive anchor flush with surface of concrete.

Expand anchor with setting tool. Anchor is properly expanded when should of setting tool is flush with top of anchor.

(To set anchor below surface)

Drill hold deeper than anchor length. Thread bolt into anchor. Hammer anchor into hole until bolt head is at desired height. Remove bolt and set anchor with setting tool.
